Nikkor 85mm 1.4g initial tests on D800... All shot wide open at 1.4, ISO 200 or less! I was afraid a prime 85mm would be too long of a focal length to shoot indoors but it is actually not that bad. Bokeh is awesome and and the lens is still super sharp wide open if you do your part. Can't wait to shoot it some more!
Low light indoor (the rug) shot at ISO 200, 1/13s f1.4, hand held! Why turn up the ISO if you do not need to = )
Some "color bokeh", but who cares, I enjoy the shallow DOF so much!
This lens tends to vignette a bit wide open, this was not added in post (or in any of the pics).
